Czech fruit baked teas

Originating from the Czech Republic, the renowned Pečený čaj, or baked tea, boasts a rich heritage spanning over 150 years. Crafted from 100% fresh fruits, some harvested from my own backyard while the remainder is carefully sourced from local farms, this beverage is a true testament to tradition.

Infused with a medley of spices and, in one variant, dark rum, the flavor profile of baked tea is elevated to perfection. Its name is derived from the unique baking process in which the concoction is subjected to high temperatures, resulting in an irresistibly delicious drink. While commonly enjoyed hot, its versatility knows no bounds; in warmer climates like Florida, it serves as an exquisite accompaniment to ice cream, waffles, pancakes, and even hot oatmeal for breakfast.

Instructions on how to make a hot tea - 1.5oz jar (or 3-4 good teaspoons if you are buying 10oz jar) is a single portion for one cup/mug poured over with boiling water.

Offering a selection of eight distinct flavors:

Winter Warmth: A subtly sweet option, enriched with red apples, mandarins, raisins soaked in dark rum, and brown sugar baked with cinnamon sticks.

Triple P: A tantalizing blend of passion fruit, yellow pears, and pineapples, accentuated by brown sugar infused with baked star anise spice.

Merry Berry: A delightful fusion of strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, complemented by brown sugar infused with green cardamom and cloves.

Southern Delight: A delightful mix of juicy peaches and mangoes baked together with almond extract (for amaretto taste) and brown sugar

Mon Cherry: A warm, inviting fragrance with the sweetness of cherries and blueberries, balanced by the earthy spice of cardamom and slightly smoky aroma of cloves baked with brown sugar.

Papaya Mint: Soft, buttery papaya chunks with contrast crisp, fibrous pineapple, along with fresh lemon juice and mint for cooling, aromatic finish, and brown sugar.

Tropical Bliss: Loquat (Japanese plum) with mangoes and brown sugar. The tartness from loquats contrasts with the ultra-sweet mango. LIMITED QUANTITY each year.
