This print is once more inspired by one of the birds I love: swifts. One of my favourite bird encounters of all time was with the groups of swifts in Dubrovnik, where they hurtled around the old city screaming and showing off their amazingly agile flight.

These are all new colours; pink and olive, peach and teal, plus one blue and light pink sample print.

This edition is printed on Stonehenge stone coloured paper with a Woodzilla lever press, using Cranfield Caligo inks.

As my prints are hand made individually there will always be slight variations in colour and pressure; I try to keep these as minimal as I can, but it is also part of the beauty of a hand made piece.

Beautiful print which arrived quickly and safely from UK. I’m very happy with the colors and quality. We have nesting boxes in our courtyard, and every June when the swifts fledge, they fly round and round the circular courtyard, trying out their acrobatics like motorcyclists on the motordrome. This linocut depicts exactly what we see and is situated next to the window that we watch them from. Thanks for a lovely piece that feels like it was commissioned just for us!
