These orange red pottery buttons have small texture pattern front and back. They are about one inch in diameter.
This price is for one set of three buttons.
I hand form the buttons, pendants, and other ceramic items from clay or porcelain. Then they are allowed to dry. I do some fine tuning; a little sanding etc. and they are fired to bisque. Using glazes and stains I decorate each item. After that they are returned to the kiln to be fired up to cone 6, or over 2,000 degrees. This process, for me, can take 6-8 weeks or longer.
Due to the handmade nature of the items there will be slight variations from batch to batch and in some cases item to item.
CERAMIC BUTTON CARE: Items with handmade ceramic buttons should be washed by hand. Dry cleaning won’t hurt them, but due to the nature of dry cleaning, there is the possibility of breakage.
SHIPPING: I do my best to get orders out every couple of days. With my art fair schedule in the summer sometimes that isn’t possible, so I ship on Wednesdays if all else fails. One way or the other it will be shipped by the date Etsy provides you with.
RETURNS: Please choose carefully as I do not accept returns. That being said, if you are horrified upon opening the box, please contact me first and we will work something out.
CUSTOM WORK, WHOLESALE, ADDITIONAL QUATITIES AND ALL THE REST: At this time in my life, I cannot take custom work. I have felt it is better to say no than to disappoint someone or stress myself out unnecessarily. The same goes for wholesale. The way I work is to make large quantities of ceramic items and fire them to bisque stage, and then glaze them as time goes by, so it is possible that I would be able to glaze some additional items up in a color I already offer in a reasonable amount of time, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out.
