The Tale of Alkyone, the Forgotten Goddess

Long ago, Alkyone, the Goddess of Grace and Transformation, was born from the earth’s alabaster sands. Her beauty was unmatched, a form of strength and delicacy, crafted by nature itself. The jealous Olympian gods, fearing her perfection, shattered her essence into the earth, where it crystalized into gypsum—her silent legacy.

Centuries later, artists unknowingly called upon Alkyone as they shaped vases and statues from gypsum cement. Her spirit infused their creations, each form a tribute to her grace. The marbled white echoes her ethereal whispers, the black her shadowed myth, and the alabaster her earthy origins.

It is said that vessels like these hold Alkyone’s essence.

Warning: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn candles out of reach of children and pets. Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles. Do not burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Only burn this candle on a level heat-resistant surface.

Never burn this candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Always burn for 3-4 hours on the first burn to ensure an even melt pool. Ensure the wick is upright, above the wax and central before the wax sets. Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting to avoid smoking. Extinguish when 5mm of wax is left and do not relight. Keep away from draughts.

The 100% Coconut Wax is mixed with essential oils that are phtalate-free giving it the desired scent. Our wood wicks create a horizontal flame which creates more heat for your candle, thus creating an even and slower burn.
