Vintage Pioneer Brand Trapper Nelson Indian pack board no 2, Patent no 244902, Sole manufacturers Jones Tent & Awning Ltd, Vancouver, B.C. This patent was registered in 1923 and around 1940 the Trapper Nelson No 3 would be out. The pack board could be used with a matching canvas bag (not present) or as a packing board for odd shaped items.

With plenty of marks of age and use, including stains, wear and slight damage to the canvas. The canvas is not ripped or torn and all metal eyelets are present and look in good shape. The leather straps are a little dry, but look strong and fully functional. The wood section with all 4 stapled on metal end plates present. With a red ink mark toward the top, on the wood. The bentwood frame is nicely constructed and feels strong. The piece is comfortable to wear and could easily be used today, or you could have it as a classic and traditional piece of cabin decor.

Please contact me with a clear photo of the damaged item and packaging, or send me a message if the item fails to arrive within 25 working days (6 weeks if overseas). Please check with customs - and your room mates or neighbours - if they are holding your parcel!

Should an item return because it was unclaimed or refused at the post office / customs, the buyer will be responsible for postage fees to have the item re-sent. No refunds will be due.

Do bear in mind that all my items have a past and will normally show signs of wear. Take care in using them as they may not stand up to rough handling.
