Replacement end caps for camp chairs: the small plastic cap that closes each leg or frame tube and holds the shock cord. 4 caps per pack, all one size.

MEASURE BEFORE YOU ORDER
Your size is the INSIDE diameter of the chair tube - not the outside, and not the old cap's head. Pull the broken cap out, measure straight across the opening, and if you land between two sizes choose the smaller one. Most camp chairs fall in the 8-13 mm range.

Tube sizes vary between makers, and between models from the same maker, so the size is set by your tube rather than by the brand of chair. Measuring takes a couple of minutes and it is always definitive.

WHY THESE LAST LONGER THAN THE ORIGINAL
Three changes, engineered to last longer than the original. A thicker shoulder: More material exactly where the original cracks first. A tougher material: Better performing than what the original is molded from. A rounded head: The original ends flat. A rounded head tested better in most chairs. The original is thin at the shoulder, exactly where the shock cord pulls hardest - once that cracks, the head stops seating on the tube end and the cord drags the cap down inside the leg.

WHAT YOU GET
4 caps, all one size, 27.5 mm long, with a head 4 mm wider than the tube bore so it seats against the tube end instead of dropping in. You usually need one; the rest are spares. The bungee is what holds the cap in.

FITTING, ABOUT A MINUTE, NO TOOLS
Pull the old cap out, thread the shock cord through the new one, tie a figure-8 stopper knot so it seats inside the head, then pull the cord taut and press the cap home.
