These pickguards are made to fit the Martin LX1 guitar series. Although these feature the X, + (Plus), and ÷ (Divide) inlay used for the Sheeran line, these pickguards would be fitting of any of the LX1s. When ordering, please let me know which design you would like; PLUS (+), DIVISION (÷), or X as well as the choice of mother of pearl (white) or abalone (multicolor) inlay design.

These are made of solid wood and are treated with teak oil to protect the wood.
Note that the GRAIN PATTERN and COLOR WILL VARY. This pickguard will fit most guitars with a 3-7/8"-4" rosette diameter. If your rosette is larger or smaller, just let me know and I can cut it to size. The Martin LX rosette size is 3-7/8" in diameter, but it's always good to check/confirm before ordering.
Note if you'd like a premium cut (choice of wood) it's a bit extra, just contact me before ordering. I am offering other beautiful woods such as ebony (when available), Bolivian Rosewood, Flamed Maple, and Flamed Koa. I also recommend an armrest for these guitars. Not only do they make a more comfortable place for your arm to sit, but you'll HEAR the difference. If you'd like a matching headstock badging (faux truss rod cover) in a matching wood just contact me in advance. These covers are held in place on the headstock using non-adhesive tape, the same as what I use on all my armrests and Free Mount pickguards.
These premium pickguards are made very thin, only .055" thick so they will have little to no impact on the vibration of the guitar's top.
I also offer my NEW FREE MOUNTING SYSTEM -
My custom-made pickguard can be modified to attach to the guitar by what I call my "free mount" system. This mounting system keeps up to 90% of the pickguard off the guitar's top. This frees the top allowing it to vibrate even more than if you attached the pickguard using traditional double-stick tape. And more importantly, this new method makes installation very easy. If you've installed a pickguard with 3M tape you know as soon as that tape hits the top it's stuck. You have to place it perfectly the first time. But with my Free Mount, it's not only very easy to install, but you can even remove and reuse the pickguard.
This new system uses a thin plastic sheet and a new nonadhesive tape that doesn't leave any residue and is easy to remove. The tape comes off cleanly and easily and will not damage your guitar's top. This has 3 years of testing on every finish; gloss, open pore, satin, matte, French polish, etc.
I've made both installation and removal videos that will help explain and show you how these are installed, and how they can be removed without damage

Important Pickguard Installation with 3M Tape
There are plenty of installation videos, I suggest you watch any, but I found this to be the best. This video by Leo Posch shows how to clean, align, and place a pickguard correctly. PLEASE WATCH BEFORE INSTALLING. Broken pickguards cannot be returned.
