Patchwork Quilted Jacket Made from a Vintage Quilt Top

Beautiful patchwork on the “nine-patch” style created from a vintage quilt top. The renewed quilt was made with new 100% new cotton batting and lining. The final quilting of the layers was done by a professional longarmer, “One Oak Handmade.”

This jacket is lightweight and perfect all year round - layering in the Winter and as a transitional jacket for Spring, Fall, and cool summer nights.

Sewing/Sizing
All seams are “finished” off with matching new binding fabric.
Five buttons in front.
Pockets: Two inseam pockets on the outside and two inside pockets.
Roomy fit for most women’s women sizes.
Cuffed sleeves and dropped shoulders allow for more flexibility in sizing.
Neck to end of sleeve: 34 (without rolling up)
Base of neck to back “shirt tail” hem: 30 inches
Pit to Pit: 24 inches

Cleaning:
These coat/jackets are meant to be WORN and the quilt’s history shared with the world. If your jacket does need cleaning, don’t be afraid to wash on the gentle cycle with cold water and laid flat to dry. I like to use Dawn soap for spot cleaning stains and “Retro Wash” to clean my jackets.
