The Pirata TESORO

This coat is a culmination of over 20 years of study, hard work, trial, and error. Every single detail has been considered in design and construction to ensure that the TESORO is instantly recognizable and effortlessly wearable.

Each and every coat is sewn, one at a time, by a single artist: Myself. Your new TESORO begins with a buttery soft suedecloth. This fabric was specifically chosen for its durable weight and rich colors in order to confidently produce a coat that any pirate would depend on. Every single piece of a Pirata TESORO is cut out by hand with specific considerations to details like nap and minimizing waste material. Once all the pieces are cut, they are expertly sewn together in a specific order to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality. In addition, every seamline is carefully pressed during construction. The cuffs alone are comprised of 20 seperate pieces and parts carefully sewn together to form the most iconic part. This coat is completely handmade right down to the buttons. Fabric matched and made one at a time with USA manufactured parts, the eleven buttons finish off this masterpiece. Your dream TESORO will go from raw materials to completion over the course of one week.

Every aspect of this proccess is passionately executed in hopes to provide the ultimate pirate coat. Since this model does not feature a lining, each seam must be perfectly sewn. My hard work and dedication is on full display both inside and out.

The sizing for my coats allow for a tremendous amount of ease because they are typically worn open. They are, after all, modeled off of a heavy captain's coat. The measurement I've listed on each coat, however, represent the fit for when the coat is worn closed/buttoned.

I can always send photos with a measuring tape included to show any measurement you'd like on each garment. Replies are usually sent within 12 to 24 hours.

NOTE: Each of my coats is a unique work of art. Some are made in small batch while others are custom, one-of-a-kind pieces. The condition of these coats as they leave my workshop is guaranteed to be new (unless otherwise stated) and are documented as such before and during packaging.

Returns and exchanges can be made on regular and sale priced items by contacting me within three (3) days of delivery.

The standard TESORO and DELUXE coats are made from a heavy, upholstery grade, faux suede. This material is 100% polyester and its suede finish can help repel water to a degree.

While dry cleaning is recommended, a damp cloth may be used to wipe away light wear.

An iron, with steam, can be used to keep your coat looking new! Please use a low to medium setting with continous motion to not damage or burn the suede finish.
