Brown Bowl woodfired was handmade in Ohio. Wheel thrown rice bowl ceramic by Joshua, variegated brown glaze with tans, creams and grays in areas due to ash reactions in the wood kiln. Caution! Handmade salad bowls have a more rough/matte/rustic surfaces than electric fired pieces due to the firing process and the exposure to open flame, ash, and soda in the word fire kiln. These rough surfaces give woodfired pieces so much character! Pieces have been sanded to ensure a smooth bottom and a comfortable handle and rim, although rough patches still exist on the piece.

Small Bowl is about 2.5 inches tall, and 5.5 inches wide across the top of the bowl.

Food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, the bottom of the ceramic bowl is unglazed.

Color can appear different on different viewing screens. Color is uneven across the surface and inside of the bowl and the effect is a beautiful nature look.
