Who are Jehovah’s Witnesses? What do they believe? How did the religion get its start? What’s it like to be a member? Being born into the religion of Jehovah’s Witnesses gave me a unique insight into it. It's an insight that might be difficult for outsiders to understand or access. 

I want people to understand Jehovah’s Witnesses—really understand them. Walk with me through the history of the religion. I want to discuss it chronologically, from its founding to the present. As we go, I’ll discuss how each policy enacted affected me personally.

I don’t just want to communicate the history or my own story. I want to talk about urban legends and esoteric ideas which lead to strange behavior. I want to explain the culture. I want to talk about the organization's inner workings, from the Kingdom Hall to the Governing Body.

If you’re a Jehovah’s Witness, I hope you’ll take the information in this book in good faith. I don’t intend to tear anybody down or hurt feelings. I want to pierce the veil. As the reader, I hope you’ll honestly consider what I have to say. This book does not challenge religion. It does, however, challenge the Christian denomination of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The last chapter contains one hundred questions for Jehovah's Witnesses—questions that the Governing Body has yet to answer. In this book, we will address the chronological history, my experiences, and some of the strangest and most fascinating questions one could ask about the religion of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
