This easy-to-use, data-rich Google Sheets Garden Tracker is intended to help home gardeners everywhere better understand the what, when, and how of their garden over a full year.

With this simple, clean template, users can answer questions at a glance like:
- How much produce has come from my garden?
- Which plants have been the most productive?
- What months is my garden most productive?
- Which plants have cost the most and which have provided the best value for their price?
- What is the breakdown of fruits, vegetables, herbs, animal products in my garden?

A simple three-tab spreadsheet structure allows gardeners to easily summarize their garden's productivity:
- In the "Garden List" tab, record what is planted and information about those plants (type of produce, number of plants, starter method, etc.). Include up to 50 distinct types of plants (and/or animals).
- In the "Harvest Tracker" tab, record what you harvest on any given day. On days nothing is harvested, no action is needed. Formulas will sum the total harvest by day and month to support the Chart tab.
- In the "Charts" tab, charts, tables, and data update automatically following your contributions to the prior tabs with the help of built-in formulas. Here you can understand your garden at a glance.
- Complete instructions provided on a fourth tab.

Note that this template is for Google Sheets; it will not work as expected in Microsoft Excel. As such, you will need a Google Sheets account (completely free!) to make use of this template.
