A short sleeve soft ivory Handloom shirt, button with button up full sleeves features a black double Ikat patch pocket, shirt collar and a regular fit. This is lightweight and a comfortable cotton collar shirt for men. A shirt that looks good tucked or untucked. This shirt is meticulously designed and hand crafted to look effortlessly cool . It has been handspun and handwoven by women weavers in a village in Andra Pradesh, which is a state in India.
Double ikat is a complex and expensive technique of tie-resist-dyeing. It involves resist-dying both the warp and weft before weaving. The warp is the vertical yarn and the weft is the horizontal yarn. The warp and weft are tied and dyed according to a specific design and intermeshed seamlessly to reveal this pattern when woven.

Environmentally friendly – Pure sustainable organic handloom, an Indian textile which is handspun and handwoven. Made without any synthetic fibers, so it doesn't cause skin allergies, healthy for both body and spirit! The natural fabric molds to your body shape and over time becomes softer.

This is a beautifully made, good-looking shirt that my husband loves. He has received many compliments on it. I wash it in cold water, hang on a hanger to dry and do touch up ironing on it. It arrived surprisingly quickly from North Goa, India. If you like quietly distinctive style, then give this a try. I would not hesitate to buy from this vendor again.
