This technique is all single stitch crochet. In order to make this blanket you will need to know how to change colors and carryover yarn. There are many great resources on the web including YouTube videos that can teach you how to do the Tapestry Crochet Technique.

The size of your finished product will depend upon the thickness of the yarn you use. This pattern contains 210 columns by 300 rows. I've used Caron Simply Soft yarn colors for the creation of this pattern. Total Stitches per each color is as follows:

White 2,838 stitches
Bone 1,021 stitches
Harvest Red 2,216 stitches
Black 4,758 stitches
Dark Country Blue 286 stitches
Autumn Red 365 stitches
Lavender Blue 50,472 stitches
Sunshine 441 stitches
Gold 607 stitches
Total: 63,004 stitches
