Natural Dyed Yarn - DK Pima Cotton - Dark Avocado. One-of-a-kind hand-dyed natural avocado dye yarn. This richly colored yarn was created by repeated overdying with avocado pits and skins. Each skein can be submerged up to 15 times in natural dyes to create the distinct pinkish color and will have slight color variant throughout. Finished naturally dyed yarn takes from 2 to 5 days to complete depending on the depth of color. Four plies of soft pima cotton are twisted together, resulting in round yarn.

All hand-dyed yarn is unique, and no two skeins will be exactly alike. Please purchase enough yarn to complete your project. I color match the listing photos to the skeins in Photoshop but, please keep in mind that colors may vary from monitor to monitor.

Care of your yarn - natural dyes are wonderfully permanent color and will remain true for many years if cared for properly. To preserve the color of all dyes please hand-wash cool separately in a small container with a perfume and ph free detergent. Hang in a shady place to dry. Do not dry clean. This item has been thoroughly washed, softened and air dried before leaving my studio.
