Seller's description

Handmade stoneware olive oil bottle or olive oil dispenser made on the potters wheel. Add a touch of handmade art to your kitchen with this modern olive oil holder.

If you enjoy olive oil it is best to keep it in a dark bottle to maintain freshness, making this stoneware oil dispenser perfect. The stainless steel pourer with weighted lid opens & closes automatically, protecting the oil.

All of the oil cruets are made on the potters wheel and glazed by hand making each one unique. Each one will be a little different in size, shape and color tone.

Something interesting and personal about the olive oil bottles is that they are somewhat of a challenging shape to make. I find I have to be very present for each one while working at the wheel. After over 30 years of making pottery, it seems my best work is made while in a state of peace or better yet, joy.
I hope you can see it and feel it.

✓Stands approximately 11" to 12" tall to the top of the pour spout

✓I use fully food safe glazes in all of my functional work.

✓Fired to 2200f turning the clay into stone so that it will not leak.

✓Holds appropriately 14oz.

✓A beautiful addition to any table.

✓ In stock and ready to ship. (my studio is just down the road from the post office)

We have had such great fortune with our purchases on Etsy. Most shops are responsive and the quality is high. We have developed such high expectations when we make an Etsy purchase. Even with those expectations, Ryan Pederson with Pederson Pottery raised the bar even higher. His pottery is exquisite and his customer service and communication is exceptional. We are thrilled to have two of his pieces as part of our home and look forward to gifting them into homes of friends and family.

We were in Ryan's store last week. He is a very talented artist and makes beautiful pottery. Quite an interesting person to talk to! My husband had an eye on the oil bottle so this will be a surprise Xmas present! Super fast shipping and really packed well. Got my eye on a coffee cup next!
