This image of the powerful dark sky and bare branches above the garden shows the below and above ground energy that I love to work with. I am fascinated by the roots. It is also available here on etsy as a cutting board, mousepad and prints of many sizes including a large high quality large format print. The multi colored batik has gone through many layers of dyebaths with some sections bleached and then directly painted. "Vegetables After The Thunderstorm" was created using soy wax as the resist to the dye and shows the garden growth in farm country below the power of mother nature seen in the sky. The last image on the right shows the original batik. All who love gardens, landscapes the vast power of nature and intricate patterns will love to have this fabric.
The batik, printed on a fine cotton by Spoonflower titled "Vegetables After The Thunderstorm" is available here as a 16" x 20" fabric panel
My shop is the only place to purchase fabric with my batik images. The fabric is machine washable cold gentle cycle. It can be used in a quilt, as an accent to a purse or clothing or framed for your home office or cabin.
