For slate engraving, these files are designed to be engraved in NEGATIVE.

You may need to adjust speed, power, DPI, contrast and image mode depending on your laser machine, lens, material and preferred result.

For CO₂ lasers, a short focal distance can help achieve cleaner engraving results. I personally use a 38.1 mm lens on my 130W CO₂ laser.

Depending on the lighting, the engraved image may appear or fade slightly, giving the final piece a subtle antique effect.
