▶︎How long does this activity take to complete?
It really depends on a lot of things. Estimated completion time is 30-60 minutes but it’s based on the kids’ puzzle skills, group size, and age. We recommend ages 8+. Younger kids may need assistance

▶︎How many kids can play at once?
That is up to you! I personally recommend letting kids work with a partner for a mix of competition and teamwork. Another option is playing in small groups, but I don't recommend groups larger than 4. Encouraging kids to compete against each other helps keep them more engaged in the activity.

▶︎How do I set up the activity?
Just PRINT & PLAY! Everything you need is included in your download. You don’t need locks, envelopes, or special equipment. For added excitement, consider concealing the puzzle cards throughout the house or room, creating a scavenger hunt. Enjoyable hiding spots could be under the sofa, behind doors, in the bathtub, in drawers, or on the bookcase. The more challenging the hiding places, the more enjoyable the experience for the kids! Or just spread them out on the kitchen table.

▶︎What if the kids get stuck on one of the puzzles?
First off, let them think for a bit! This is where critical thinking skills come in. If a child is really struggling, think about revealing a hint card to assist them. The harder puzzles come with helpful examples on the hint cards, serving as a guide for solving each puzzle. I only reveal hint cards to children struggling with a puzzle for an extended period. You could also establish a rule where each child or group is limited to a specific number of hint cards. Setting such limits encourages more effort in solving the puzzles, which is the main goal of the activity!

Kids can start on any puzzles and complete the puzzles in ANY order!

▶︎What else do I need to Set up?
NOTHING! This escape room is made to make your life easier! Great for last-minute party ideas! There are NO envelopes to stuff, NO locks, NO cutting and pasting! ALL you need to do is PRINT and PLAY! And hide them, if you choose that option!!
