🧶 How are tufted rugs made? Loops of yarn are punched into the rug's primary fabric using a tufting gun or a punch needle, which creates a loop pile texture or a smooth cut-pile surface. After gluing the back and tucking the ends, we apply a non-slip backing for floor rugs or a lighter textile backing for wall hangings. In the end, the rug is trimmed, shaped, and cleaned, and finishing details are applied.
