Physical description.. Well it's white, very dense, firm to the touch, but has just enough "give" to allow you to skip the cushion when mounting a stamp. The sheet is 5 x 10 inches and one half inch thick. Usually wood mounts are 3/4ths inch tall so this is just a tiny bit shorter than a wood mounted stamp ok? Now, although it's very ridged, and thick you CAN cut it with a scissors, a exacto knife, a cheap box cutter works best for me. The trick is sharp. A dull pair of scissors is not fun, but since exactoknife blades are so cheap, live a little, splurge on a new blade. If you've ever cut foam core board with a dull knife you have the idea. it's SO much easier with a sharp blade. !


Here are the instructions. Lay stamp "trimmed" on top to visualize the size you need, cut a hunk off the sheet, ( no measuring, just eye ball it it's easy) Now flip it over and peel off the paper that protects the adhesive. ( YES it already has adhesive) Slap the stamp on the quickie mount adhesive and you are ready to stamp. But what about the left over adhesive on the edges? Dust it with baby powder and then there is no extra adhesive anymore... got it? Now here is where it gets fun. With "acrylic" systems" you see thru the block to a shape of a stamp. With QUICKIES, you can actually trim the block to the physical shape of the stamp. Round, square triangles, it does not matter, but you will be able to position and see where the stamp will go so much easier than with any method you'll love it. Oh, wanna make it look like a wood mounted stamp? Stamp the image on sticky label paper and then just slap it on top and trim the sticker to the shape of the mount. ____

Now you may have trouble picturing what the heck this stuff is. Traveling to conventions, once people see it they buy it and then I get orders again and again from that part of the country. Well not all of the USA has conventions so here is my attempt to let you give something a try that I'm sure you'll like.

ps.. remember you are buying 40 square inches of mounting material. work it like a jig saw puzzle, mount your largest stamps first, then use the smaller pieces for the smaller stamps. a little goes a long way this way.
