A panoramic canvas made for a wall that is much wider than it is tall — above a sofa, a bed, a sideboard or along a hallway, where an ordinary square print leaves the wall looking empty.

WHICH SIZE FITS YOUR WALL
Designers size art to roughly two thirds the width of the furniture below it, and hang it 57 to 60 inches from the floor — about 6 to 10 inches above a sofa back.

12" x 36" (30 x 90 cm) — above a console, a desk, a single bed
16" x 48" (40 x 120 cm) — above a two-seat sofa or a queen bed
20" x 60" (50 x 150 cm) — above a three-seat sofa or a king bed

All four are a true 3:1 panoramic shape.

HOW IT IS MADE
Giclée printed with archival pigment inks on acid-free poly-cotton canvas, then hand stretched over a solid wood stretcher bar 1.5 inches deep. The image continues around the sides, so no part of the artwork is cropped and no white edge shows. Every piece is printed to order — nothing is mass produced or held in stock.

What size wall art goes above a sofa?
About two thirds of the sofa's width. A 75 inch two-seat sofa takes the 16" x 48"; a standard 84 to 90 inch three-seat sofa takes the 20" x 60". For a full feature wall, the 24" x 72".

How high should it hang?
Centre it 57 to 60 inches from the floor — roughly eye level — which usually leaves 6 to 10 inches between the top of the sofa and the bottom of the frame.

Which size works over a bed?
The 16" x 48" sits comfortably above a queen bed. A king bed takes the 20" x 60".

Is the frame real wood?
Yes. The floater frame is 100% wood. Natural Oak and Walnut are finish names describing the tone.

Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes, on both the framed and the gallery canvas option. The hardware is already fitted.

Will the colours fade?
The inks are pigment based and archival. In a normally lit room the colours hold for decades. Keep it out of direct sunlight.

Is this a hand painted original?
It is a giclée print on canvas with a flat matte surface and a fine weave, so it reads as paint while staying perfectly flat.

Can it go in a bathroom or kitchen?
In a well ventilated room, yes. Avoid a wall where water reaches it or where steam condenses and sits — canvas is fabric on a wooden frame and standing damp is what it does not like.

CARE
Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from standing damp. Dust with a dry, soft cloth. The inks are pigment based and hold their colour for decades indoors.
