Kathy and Bill Richardson have been making museum quality shaker boxes and carriers in their cottage shop in Suffolk, Virginia for over twenty-five years. Their work has been displayed in several museums and on the cover of Early American Life magazine. Our handmade shaker boxes and trays are made in the traditional Shaker way by cutting our own bands and beveling the swallow tail fingers by hand. We secure these bands with copper tacks and complete the item with a hand rubbed satin finish.

This pincushion is in a traditional tomato segmented shape with a covered fabric button. The material used is a superior quality William Morris fabric (Strawberry Thief Navy).
