🌊 Do you feel like experiencing the crystal clear waters of tropical seas up close? This design takes inspiration from the greenish-blue beaches found around tropical islands. It's a relaxing design that allows you to enjoy the soft color gradients of the sea. 🌊 The biscornu is a small cushion sewn from two square sheets of cloth). The word comes from the French adjective "biscornu" that means skewed, quirky, or irregular.

🌊 The final biscornu can be used as a pin cushion, a paperweight, a fragranced pomander, or even simply as an ornament! I love to put some fragrant seeds like lavender or rosemary inside and use them in my closets. This design would also make a very pretty present for somebody special.

ℹ️ The design is 50 x 50 stitches (each side) and once finished it's about 10 cm (4") wide and 5 cm (2") thick if you work on 25 count evenweave fabric. I advise against using Aida, as this design features many small stitches that are terribly difficult to make over this material.
