Venetian Millefiori Murano Glass Necklace

Absolutely stunning, Venetian Murano millefiori glass beaded necklace with graduated oval beads.

The beads in this vintage necklace are beautifully vibrant with detailed designs consisting of stars, flowers, starbursts and swirls. Each bead is handmade and has a slightly uneven feel or texture.

There is a small glass bead and a brass, filigree bead cap between each bead. There are a total of 33 millefiori glass beads.

MEASUREMENTS: 24" from end to end, (including the fish hook clasp). The largest bead measures approx 3/4" long and the smallest bead, 7/16" long.

WEIGHT: 61.1 grams

CONDITION: No chips or cracks noted. There is one bead, (5th from the hook end of the clasp), where the bead was imperfectly formed, which created a larger opening. However, the bead appears to be secure. The fish hook clasp works easily and closes securely.
