This mohair is hand processed from the raw; clipped from the goat while it stands eating, then hand washed, dyed, brushed, dyed again and set, washed of excess, combed into crafting locks, then weighed and packaged to ship.

Created by my Mother and I, this mohair comes from our own angora goats that we raised from newborns on our little homestead in Northern California since 2008. They are pets to us and we love having them roam the property to keep the brush down which helps protect against fires. Their mohair is a pleasure to work with and we enjoy creating other homemade items on our spare time such as hats, scarfs, and blankets.
