Highlights
A unique mounted red deer slot silver plate mounted ink well. Engraved to lid - " Meet at Sloleywood Killed At Blue Anchor, 29th Aug 1889, Given to May Wasborough by The Master". Mounted upon a rectangular oak base.

The red deer (Cervus elaphus) is one of the largest deer species. A male red deer is called a stag or hart, and a female is called a hind. The red deer inhabits most of Europe, the Caucasus Mountains region, Anatolia and parts of western Asia.
