An adorable sterling silver and opal ring by the British icon- Bernard Instone. The jewelry features slightly asymmetrical leaves and flowers crown, where each ornamental element was meticulously soldered one by one and embellished with one gorgeous, claw set, precious white Australian opal cabochon with wonderful color play withing the stone. The opal is a tricky stone to picture , it flashes with luminescent rainbow colors mixed up inside milky white base and the ring looks much better in person.

Apparently unmarked, sterling silver and natural opal are professionally tested and confirmed

Comes in wonderful antique state, beautiful contrasting patina, smooth opal surface without any chips

The best British silver was made in Birmingham and one of greatest Birmingham designers of 20th century was Bernard Instone. His work displays the old school values of arts and crafts. Bernard was born in 1893 and went to study at Birmingham's Central School of Arts when he was only 12 years old, soon his talent was noticed and he became a skillful master and finally the President of the Birmingham Jeweler's Association. Instone's work is exhibited in most of major museums around the world and in high demand by the biggest auction houses
