This is an early verge pocket watch movement made by the famous maker De Charme of London
The movement has a broken balance and no chain.
Movement – the deep gilt full plate verge movement has Egyptian style pillars and a large winged watchcock decorated with pierced work and also engraved with carved head flanked by two dogs. The movement is signed “De Charme, London” and is in 85% mint condition – some scratches and marks and not complete
The movement does not have a dial or motion work
The movement measures 40mm wide x 16mm deep
