Yarn Holder Lazy Susan Ambrosia Maple

Ambrosia maple comes from regular soft maple and Hard Maple trees that have been infested by the ambrosia beetle. A fungus is responsible for the blue, gray and brown streaks and decorative patch work. The beetle doesn't survive after the wood is dried in a kiln, you are left with maple wood with very interesting character.

Measures 7 1/4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide

A bearing set is routered into the base of the Yarn holder, this creates minimal space between the two pieces of wood so yarn won't get caught while unwinding.

Some yarn holders are made using a nylon washer or CD between the top and bottom pieces of wood. I feel a bearing set is superior in every way for providing a smooth rotation without any friction. Long story short, you will not have any issues when yarn is unwinding.

Each one made with ambrosia maple has a slightly different pattern, but care is taken to select only unique.

Sanded smooth and finished with clear coat

Comes with non skid rubber bumpers on the bottom.
