In the underground bunker there are cells without doors, created for our safety. The only openings are some armored windows, which allow us to observe the subjects inside: we study them, we analyze them, we watch how they grow and adapt to their environment.

These beings, who arrived years ago and were immediately confined, look at us with curious eyes. The dimensions of their cells have become indefinable; the borders have expanded until they disappear. Behind the haze of uncertain lights, perhaps an entire world is hidden, an unknown universe that grew up in those prisons.

And they are there, often, watching us through the same windows we built. Now it is no longer clear who is observing and who is being observed. They remain silent, without attempting to communicate.

Flowers and ideas are almost everywhere in the cells, as if growing out of nothing.

My canvases are an attempt to take you into the world of the bunker, trying to discern where fantasy merges with reality and to understand why this confuses me to the point of making me dizzy.

Acrylics have proven to be the best way to quickly capture on canvas their gazes or fragments of their world that I can briefly grasp. What I want is for others to recognize their existence. What I want is for you to help me communicate with them, to interpret their feelings, their expressions.
