Jamdani is a type of muslin, a fine and sheer cotton fabric, traditionally woven in Fulia, West Bengal. It's renowned for its intricate designs, often featuring floral and geometric patterns woven directly into the fabric using a supplementary weft technique. This meticulous process can take up to 10 days to weave just 12 meters of fabric, making each Jamdani piece a true work of art.
