The design works with any brand of filter but 3M Filtrete brand filters preform the best in my tests. MERV 13 or MERV 14 filters are highly recommended. You will need 4 total filters for this kit. If you buy in bulk, the prices are better. The larger the filter, the more economical it tends to be. Large filters are also more efficient when filled with dust. Choose the largest filter that you can fit into your space.

Excellent! Works exactly as described and seller was very quick and thorough in his response. I tested the unit with a Dylos meter and I was able to achieve near zero particulate readings. The unit also arrived quicker than estimated. Would purchase again!
This review request is a bit premature because I have not had a chance yet to use it. However.... 1. Nate was very helpful and punctual in helping me choose the best option for my circumstance. We used the chat function on his web site. 2.The product was extremely well wrapped for shipping and arrived without damage. 3 . It's easy to assemble with good instructions. It took me about an hour together with filters and cat fan. 4. My filters (Filtrete 20 x 30 Merv 14) are very slightly too tall, but I was able to squeeze them in. When I change them out, or clean the filter next time, I'm tempted to remove the top and bottom seals and set them back in the same plane as the side seals. 5. It is much quieter than my shop vac. 6. Very pleased so far.

Sizing of filters is important. I had a tough time fitting the ones that were supposed to fit.

3M Filters tend to fit the most tightly. Try out the "tight filter trick" video if you have issues with this. Once the foam has compressed for a while your next filter change will go a lot more smoothly. If you have questions, I'm always available!
