How do you create music and sound effects?

My main DAW (digital audio workstation) is called Reaper and it's the software in which I design and create all my audio. For sound effects I use a combination of synthesizers and other instrument libraries to form the sound I have in mind. Other times I record sounds on my own, cut and edit them and add VST effects like reverb, to shape them where I want them. With music I kind of use the same process, either write down melodies that come to mind or compose by certain genres. I create my own composition with whatever inspiration falls into my head and ears.

What do you do besides that?

I work as a video game composer and sound designer. I started off working inhouse in a company, gaining experience in a foreigh country. Then I decided to start freelancing to have more time for side projects like my Etsy page here.

Hello hello, it's Phil,
this is my third sound pack and one of my favourites, as I am a total fantasy fan. The pack includes 12 original sound effects, crafted by myself with digital instruments (VSTi). More genres coming soon. They are made for transitions in your streaming-sessions, or as fillers in one of your videos or games. Feel free to use these sounds for any creative project of your choice and in any way you feel works best for your craft.

Possible use cases in a nutshell:
- streaming (transitions, sound alerts i.e. on Twitch as Just Chatting, ASMR, Gaming etc.)
- video productions (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram etc.)

FANTASY - YAYYYY!
Being a big fastasy fan, I enjoy this genre from books over movies and games to basically everywhere anytime. For me it's all about diving into another world, one which evokes feelings of another realm, of magical creatures and wide unknown lands. So this is what I was trying to get across here when making the sounds. Creating this kit was very high up on my to-do list.

Downloaded Files:
Once downloaded, the sounds will be accessible as a .zip file. Just use a free unzip-tool (i.e. 7-zip) to extract the original 12 sound effects. The sounds will be in lossless .WAV format for high quality in 48 kHz and 16 bit. I noticed though that for example the streaming page StreamElements won't accept WAV files, so I made an MP3 version as well, use that one for streaming.

The sound files of course come clean and without the background-crickets heard in the SoundCloud preview.
FYI: Due to an upload limit of 20MB per file I had to split the download into several (.zip) files. Also if you need a very high 96kHz 24bit version of the sounds, please contact me. If you don’t know what that means, you probably won’t need it :). Couldn’t add it by default due to upload size limitations.
