Glazes are indivually mixed and refind, using locally sourced materials such as ash from tyrolian forest trees. It is tested to be food safe.

Around the area of Tahiti and Polynesia you’ll find very rare, so called black pearls. In fact they’re not completely black but range from dark grey to brown and green. Each pearl is one of a kind and varies in its under- and overtones ranging from lilac, to yellow, pink and green. That is also the distinct character of the BLACK PEARL collection. A translucent, iridescent, rich and deep glaze where you’ll always discover a new and fascinating detail each time you pick up the vessel. No pot equals another.
