These long, artisan made earrings feature soldered peridot gemstones paired with Unakite. A silver twisted wire circle is soldered to the gemstones. I have meticulously added soldered dots around the unakite stone, charm and peridot stone. Once everything has been soldered I use several techniques to oxidize the metal to a dark finish, then polish and preserve the patina with a jeweler's wax. The end result is SUBLIME!

Unakite is a beautiful stone with a moss-like appearance that has pink patches. Each stone has a unique pattern.
Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occur in only one color. It is the rare gem-quality variety of the common mineral olivine, which forms deep inside the earth's mantle and is brought to the surface by volcanoes.
