Listing is for one towel

This flour sack towel is hand dyed by me in my home studio using the traditional Japanese technique of Shibori. Dyed with Natural Indigo, this towel measures approx 28" x 28". These are highly absorbent and great for drying dishes, sopping up messes, covering that bowl of rising bread or just looking pretty on a hook.

Makes a great gift for grandma, an in-law, a bride to be or anyone else who needs to brighten up their kitchen.

All towels have been pre washed by me and I recommend washing in cold water, tumble dry.

If ordering more than one towel from me please note that I sometimes use different suppliers so some towels may vary in size and thickness.

Variation in color may occure and are normal for hand dyed items. You will recieve a towel dyed in the pattern shown.

*Shibori is a traditional Japaneese tecnique of dying fabric using resistance, such as folding, clamping, pleating, twising, scrunching, stitching and binding. The fabric is then typically dyed in an Indigo vat. I sometimes dye mine using Procion colors for variety in my items.
