"Baby Jesus and Mary" is one of over 60 in the collection "Sentimental Journeys" Collection and this one of baby Jesus sitting on His mother's lap with Mary looking up to heaven is from the holidays section of the Collection. Look at the beautiful expression on Jesus' face in the closeup shot. Each numbered design in this collection contains an original vintage postcard or greeting card representing the "journey" of over 100 years. When adding a new card to the collection, I begin my task of love of presenting that card's beauty for others to see. I do that by adding mats to surround the card, and by not compromising the original artwork, I extend that artwork with hand painting as if the design is spilling out and over its border. I have framed the artwork in a lovely deep red enamel 5 x 7 easel back frame but it could also be wall hung. Makes a lovely gift for someone special. I have left the glass of the frame off so the design can be fully appreciated.
