How to Choose the Right Width:
► Drapery Width:
If space permits, we recommend adding 6 to 12 inches on each side of the window frame. This creates the illusion of larger windows and ensures the fabric stacks clear of the windows when fully open. For optimal fullness, it's best to order curtain panels that are 2 to 2.5 times the length of your rod.
►► Drapery Length:
It’s advisable to hang curtains about six inches above the window frame or close to the ceiling. The finished height is measured from the rod to your desired endpoint. The most popular style is full floor length, but if you're aiming for a more luxurious, vintage appearance, add a few extra inches to allow the curtains to puddle slightly on the floor.
