Graphic Deck Cover for Teenage Engineering EP-133 KO II

There are 2 graphic versions. The text version comes in orange on black or black on orange. Since more than 90% of the solid color covers I've sold have been either black or orange, this made sense to me. The other version, let's call it the boxing glove, is hand drawn by me. The drawing was initially inspired by the icons of the KO II, then I added a little sumpin' sumpin' to make it pop. It'll only come in the matte grey and navy blue, at least for now.

Due to the 2 color print, there is a little greater likelihood of color fleck artifacting, small surface defects, and chatoyance abnormalities than the solid version. Nothing egregious, just please keep that in mind when ordering.

Covers are 3D printed in one-piece PLA for weight savings and strength. The original design was going to be carved in HDPE on a CNC machine, but 3D printing proved to be a better design overall.

This cover went through dozens of iterative changes to get it just right. Several of those changes were moving a hole a tenth or two tenths of a millimeter- precision was important to me. What resulted is a nice fitting deck cover that will keep your KO II from damage in a bag or whatever.

They don't fit tightly, however- just the right size to keep it from slipping around. It picks up really easily off the top. It can also hold the KO II sitting on the table, with room for cables to easily remain plugged in.

The side profile of the cover has a tiny bit of texture, a random .1mm wiggle in the extruder on the outer wall, so that it has a nicer appearance than your standard 3D printed part. The top face of the cover (bottom?) is textured.

New addition! Covers now all come with a velcro strap. This holds the cover on for travel. It's not the most elegant solution, but it works well.
