Tag & Tailor dog tags and keychains are made using high quality, 2mm thick, solid brass and stainless steel. They are engraved in the UK using a fiber laser engraving machine, and finished by hand using various sanding and polishing techniques.

Each tag comes with one small and one large split ring in the same colour as the tag.
*It is highly recommended that you only use the larger, stronger ring if you have a particularly active or boisterous dog.*

Your order will be beautifully gift wrapped free of charge and will include a care card and a free polishing cloth to keep your tag shiny.

A NOTE ABOUT METALS:

Brass may develop a natural tarnish over time. This is not a fault of the product, it's a natural characteristic of the material. Your order will include a free polishing cloth and cleaning instructions to keep your tag shiny.

The rings I use are made of solid steel, these are the strongest I have found.
The brass colour rings which come with the brass dog tags, are brass plated steel. This is because solid brass rings are not very strong.

If by chance the rings fail and your tag is lost, please get in touch and I will happily discuss a replacement.


INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING

1. Choose your options from the drop-down menus:

- Type of Metal/Shape

- Text Style for the FRONT of the tag, please refer to the photos for available fonts. The back of the tag will be engraved using a plain, easily read font.

2. Enter your wording requirements into the “personalisation” box for both the front and back of the tag, including:

- Your pet’s name or initial, or type NO NAME if you don't want a name on the front. The name will be engraved exactly as you type it so if you want all uppercase lettering, please enter the name in all uppercase letters. Some fonts have both upper and lowercase available, some have only uppercase due to the nature of the design.

- Information you require on the back of the tag, e.g. surname, phone number, house number/name, postcode. Please be realistic about the amount of text that can comfortably fit on a tag, see the infographic in the photos for help.

- The dog breed you would like engraved on the tag.
