I just LOVE this pretty vintage fabric! It is a polished cotton ground (similar to chintz) that has a wonderful sheen with a stunning chinoiserie inspired floral design. Nice, smooth texture as well with sizing still evident.

This is old store stock and a nice large piece to play with. You could cover a chair or ottoman or make a curtain (if you purchase more than one length)...or a bunch of pillows! The ground color is a gorgeous, dusty pink/salmon (it changes in lighting.) It's really pretty. Please note that the fabric was folded in half for the photos.

From the 1940's-1950's thereabouts...it is marked "100% Completely Washable and Sunfast and a Bonded Fabric "Chippendale Fabric" Vat Dyes" on the selvage. Most likely a vintage Waverly fabric although I was not able to locate it in my reference materials.

In excellent condition, clean and ready to use. All you need to do is iron out the wrinkles.

The design runs horizontally.
