A really good adirondack chair for "old" people like me. (52 y.o.) I sit comfortably, and the chair is easy to sit down and raise up from.

Just finished building this. It came out handsome and is comfortable. I used cedar with natural stain and clear satin spar varnish - looks nice. Will soon seek out some cushions. It has a bit small and low presence, but it is comfortable to sit in. The instructions are generally well done, however the cutting instructions are tedious. Many measurements at 1/32" (can't even measure that), lots of angles, etc. It took me a couple of hours to trace out the cuts, then made one set of cuts and used those as templates for the remaining pieces. The pieces came together well enough, however some gaps here and there due to having so many manual measurements and tracing inaccuracies. In the end, I think I would have preferred to pay more for downloadable/printable templates or cardboard templates for a better, quicker result.
