This listing is for a small vintage silk scarf by Vera Neumann. It measures 16" x 16.25" and has hand rolled edges. I would describe it as an emerald green in person, and it has navy blue leaves and little white flowers that look painted on. I looked at a collector website for Vera scarves and the label and signature on this scarf indicate that it might be from as early as the 40s, but probably the 50s. It could be used as a handkerchief or in a pocket, or around your neck if you make it fairly tight, as I had to on the photos with the mannequin.

There are some abrasions (I don't know what else to call them, really) when you hold the scarf up to the light. You can see an example of them in the next to the last photo. The last photo shows some small loose threads and a hole, unfortunately. I steamed it for this listing to remove wrinkles and it does have a "vintage" odor from age/storage. I will leave any cleaning and repairs up to the buyer.

Thank you so much for the lovely item! These mini vintage babies are so fun and sweet! I remember when I was little I found some tiny little figures like these in the ice cubes at a baby shower!
