Pattern was more or less straightforward. I found myself confused by the instructions for applying the piece for the front slit but I managed to improvise and it turned out well. I would recommend *not* to use non-stretch fabrics. Jersey cotton is probably your best bet if you want to be able to raise your arms. I used wool because I was going to be wearing this as a costume in the dead of night for an event. If you are using a non-stretch fabric, add some underarm gussets.
