I hand-paint each pet portrait with acrylic paint over stretched canvas. This is a real physical painting, not a digital painting or a print. After placing an order, please send me a some reference photos of your pet and any specific requests. I will create a finished product that represents your pet even more than a single photo. My goal is not to strictly copy a photo, but to capture the perfect likeness of your pet in a beautiful scene.

The canvas is stretched over wood and can be hung up without a frame. I paint the sides of the canvas so that they are beautiful from any angle. For reference, most of the portraits in the listing are 8"x10" (the rest are labeled accordingly). Smaller canvases will have less room for detail, while larger canvases will have more flexibility.
