I am offering a 1:12 replica Victorian Chinoiserie vitrine or curio cabinet with a matching table. The set is made of walnut and has Chinese motifs on the front of the cabinet top, bottom, and around the glass doors. The table has matching motifs. The set is hand made and painted. The legs are long slender cabriole. During the Victorian Era everyone who had wealth and status had to have something "Chinese" in their homes. People were curious about Asian country because of imported Asian goods. Chinoiserie was the West's interpretation of what Chinese furniture would look like. Chinoiserie is still popular but as a style all on its own. This beautiful curio cabinet/vitrine (display) cabinet would be a lovely addition to a dollhouse, room box scene, part of a miniature furniture collection or as a holiday, birthday, Mother's or Father's Day Gift. It measures 5.5 x 3.5 x 2 inches.
