Do You Deliver Worldwide?

Yes we do! We offer the cheapest possible rates available to us for international deliveries and can deliver anywhere in the world via DHL Express or DeutschPost. Parcels over 2KG are sent via a tracked DHL express service. Although couriers now deliver to almost anywhere in the world please keep in mind that we might have to cancel and refund your order if the delivery address can not be delivered to. If you would like a shipping quote please send us a message with the items you are interested in and we will be able to provide you with a delivery quote as quickly as possible.

We receive a lot of messages asking for measurements of our items. PLEASE NOTE that all of our items have basic dimensions on the listing page so please look at the item details thoroughly before messaging. If you do not see the measurement you require then please message us and we'll be happy to help.

Custom and personalised orders

We currently make a range of personalised signs and wooden products. Each of our personalised products has an extended lead time specified on the item and cannot be returned unless damaged or not as described.

If your item is unwanted, damaged or incorrect we will happily refund within 30 days of delivery. Please include a copy of your original invoice in your package with a note stating the reason(s) for your return. Please note we do not refund original postage costs unless the items are incorrect or damaged upon delivery. Please ensure goods are packaged properly as damaged items will not be refunded in full. Will my parcel be subject to customs charges?

All parcels sent outside of the UK are subject to customs charges. Customs charges are determined when the parcel arrives, therefore it’s impossible for us to determine whether you’ll be charged and by how much in advance. Does the price I pay include customs charges? The price you pay does not include customs charges as these are not known at the time the order is placed. The decision is made by the relevant authorities in the delivery country who will contact your recipient if there are any charges to be paid.

There is a risk that the parcel will be abandoned or returned to the sender. These actions may not be free of charge and as each country has different rules we cannot give any specifics. Yester Home cannot be held responsible for any charges that customs enforce on a parcel.

POSTS

End post - Use at the end of a run, only 1 hole

Corner Post - 90-degree corner, usually used on the end of each straight run to return along the depth of the shelf.

Through Post - The rod runs straight through this post, used for spacing along the bar or joining 2 rods together.

We do not recommend spacing posts above 350mm.

If the gallery rail will run along the front of your shelving, use end posts at each end, and through posts every 8 - 14". If the brass gallery rail will be installed along the front and sides of your shelving, use corner posts and end posts.

RODS

Available in 250mm & 1000mm.

If the rod if not long enough, join 2 rods together with a through post.

We recommend to use 1000mm lengths for long sections and 250mm for shorter sections. These can easily be cut to size using a hacksaw. The cut sections can also be used for side runs if the length is sufficient.

FIXINGS

All our posts have both top fixings and a rear fixing which is an m4 thread (screws are provided for both)

* Screw Fixing -Traditional slotted brass woodscrews fixed through the top of each post
* Rear Fixing - M4 bolt fixed through the base of the post

How to cut the rods

* Rod can be easily cut to size with a hacksaw.
* Once cut sand down any sharp edges to ensure a smooth fit into the posts.

Tips

* Use 1000mm rod lengths where possible, it will save both time and money and you might be able to use offcuts for other sides.
* Cut rod 50mm shorter than your shelf length - eg. if your shelf is 800mm, cut down to 750mm.
* If your material is stone such as marble or granite you can use clear adhesive instead of drilling if desired.
* Space rods 8 - 14" apart evenly
* Draw out your design first to make sure you've measured properly.
