The Serene Socks pattern is a fingering weight as well as DK weight knitted sock pattern. The pattern in this listing comes with BOTH sizes.
This sock design is knit cuff down and creates a simple but beautiful textured rib. Design options include working the texture pattern on the front half of the leg only or continuing around the back of the leg.
The pattern is written for adult small, medium and large. (Small 8-9", Medium 9-10", Large 10-11") foot circumference.
MATERIALS NEEDED for Fingering Weight Version:
Yarn: 100g (appx 400 yards) of fingering weight yarn suitable for sock knitting
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) I used a 9” Chiaogoo circular needle but use whatever your preferred needle size and method is (magic loop, DPNs, etc)
Stitch markers, tapestry needle
Lightbulb pin markers (recommended but not needed)

Yarn: 100g (appx 240 yards) of DK weight yarn suitable for sock knitting
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) I used a 9” Chiaogoo circular needle but use whatever your preferred needle size and method is (magic loop, DPNs, etc)
Stitch markers, tapestry needle
Lightbulb pin markers (recommended but not needed)

SKILL LEVEL:
This pattern is recommended for a beginner to intermediate sock knitter. If you have never knit socks before I recommend trying a vanilla sock pattern first to understand the construction of a sock. However the texture pattern itself is easy to work and memorize.
