The rim on this cat bowl is SLIGHTLY warped on one side, so the price is slightly lower than my other, similar cat bowls.

Wheel-thrown and hand glazed Porcelain Clay with swirls and drips of speckled glazes.
Anemone flowers around the outside circumference are hand painted with underglazes,
and covered with a dinnerware safe, clear glaze.

Whisker Friendly cat food bowl.

Low sides keep cat's whiskers out of their food, and keep their sensitive whiskers from touching a deep bowl's sides.

Can also be used to accommodate jewelry, coins, or perhaps to serve a couple bonbons or can be used as a candle plate.

OUTSIDE:

This cat bowl is wheel-thrown porcelain clay.
The design on the outside circumference was hand-painted.
The anemone design was drawn with rubber latex, squeezed out of a bottle with a small opening.
After the flowers were painted with underglaze, the rubber latex is removed.

INSIDE:
Glossy, variegated and speckled lilac, pale lilac and creamy white.
Darker lilac purple on the bottom and between the bottom swirl.
Splatters of purply-blue on bottom.

RIM:
Glossy, clear, dinnerware safe glaze.
Just below the rim is thin band of dark pink, nerikomi inlaid porcelain.

Wheel thrown and hand glazed by me.

Standard 365 Porcelain Clay.
Glazed with lead-free dinnerware safe glazes.
Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

Kiln fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees F.)
Engraved signature on the bottom.
